It was a mix of excitement and relief when I clicked the “Order” button for the Photobook I had been working on every day since we returned. I was quickly hit with shock and disappointment when it said, “Please deposit $200!”
::Insert sound of screeching tires::
I almost did it. After all, it captured the moments well, and it was certainly going to last. It’s just at $200 a POP, this wasn’t something I could share with many people (and what if someone actually wants to BUY one????)
So, it’s been back to the drawing board for nearly a week. This time I’m going to make it in PowerPoint and prepare it to go into Amazon’s publishing site. It will be like my cookbook in many ways, and will then be available around the world for anyone who wants one.
I thought it would take as long the second time, but I was wrong. I’m still going through and importing the photos, then setting up the layout, yadda yadda yadda, blah blah blah.
I’m nearly done with this round, so that’s a plus.
A negative has been that this all-consuming project has zapped my time, preventing me from reaching back out to all my lovely supporters and fans. The natives are getting restless… so here’s an update.
It won’t be much longer now.
Just know that I’m still at it, and still love you dearly!
